Elul is the final month in the Jewish year, during which we spiritually prepare for the High Holy Days. Mark your calendars for the following Elul events.

Taste of the High Holy Days Open House

Friday, September 12 at 6:00pm

Join us in the Welcome Center prior to Shabbat Services for delicious bites and handcrafted drinks showcasing the symbolic flavors of Rosh Hashanah. Bring your neighbors, family, and friends to meet our clergy and see what TBA is all about prior to the High Holy Days. 

Selichot

Saturday, September 13- Dinner 6:30pm, Havdalah and Concert: 7:27pm

Join us for a casual community dinner and connect with friends before the busy season begins. Afterwards join us as we mark the end of Shabbat and change our Torah covers into their High Holy Days garb. Following Cantor Marcy will present an inspiring concert with moving melodies reflecting on the past year and oepning our hearts and souls to the year ahead.  RSVP Required. Cost of dinner is $15/person, no cost for the concert.  RSVP in portal or by calling the Temple Office.

Additional Elul Events

Round Challah Baking- Friday, September 19 at 11:00am

Join Danna in the TBA kitchen to learn how to braid a traditional round challah for your Rosh Hashanah table. Take one home and make the rest for the temple.  No cost. Space limited. RSVP to temple office. 

High Holy Day Pop-Up Market- Sunday, September 21 at 9:30am

Stop by and pick up last-minute holiday gifts and treats for the holiday table including local honey, homemade round challah, cards, new fruits, baked goods, local eggs, apple granola, pomegranate hot sauce, and more! Come early, we sell out every year!

 

TICKET INFORMATION
High Holy Days tickets are included with your Temple Beth Am membership. Tickets will be mailed to all members who have renewed their VFC for the 2025-2026  year and are in good standing two weeks prior to Rosh Hashanah. Your High Holy Days name badge is your ticket.  Name badges will be checked prior to gaining entry into the building and should be worn to all Services.

Tickets are available for purchase by members for immediate family and by community guests for all Services by clicking HERE. Free tickets are available at the same link for Erev Rosh Hashanah and the afternoon of Yom Kippur. Children are always free and do not require a ticket. Young adults and students (up to age 29) are free of charge and may obtain tickets by calling the Temple office at 561.747.1109 or emailing tba@templebetham.com.

Children's Service on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are free, but please RSVP by clicking HERE.
