Please join Dr. Milone for a discussion on Maternal Emotional Signaling: What We Say Without Words. This presentation will describe the emotional communications between a mother and child. We will discuss how mothers can successfully use these communications to help their children regulate their emotions and manage anxiety.
Jennifer Milone, M.D. is double board certified in both Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and Adult Psychiatry. Dr. Milone graduated with honors from the University of Florida where she majored in Psychology and Biochemistry. She completed her medical training at the University of Florida College of Medicine where she graduated with honors in research. Dr. Milone went on to complete her Psychiatry Residency & Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at The Menninger Department of Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Milone's areas of expertise include: mood disorders, anxiety, women's mental health, trauma, ADHD & PTSD. She is currently in practice at Treasure Coast Primary Care in Stuart, Florida.
