JAMTY U has been designed for high school students to encourage meaningful learning for their entire high school journey. It will focus on connections with each other and forming one community. Educational courses will be offered on Sundays at noon – 1:30pm.

Class meet alternating weeks.

1st, 3rd, & 5th Sundays of every month:

Teen Tank (9th - 12th grade)

Students will work together to create and pitch a project that would enhance our Jewish community. The group will be eligible to earn a micro-grant to make their project a reality. They will hear from local Jewish entrepreneurs on how they got started, where they are today, and how Judaism plays a role in their business. Students will develop the ethics and values connected to starting and managing a business, build confidence and creativity and foster leadership and teamwork skills through a Jewish lens.

2nd & 4th Sundays of every month:

Confirmation (10th - 12th grade)

Confirmation celebrates the commitment of young adults to continue the path of "living Jewishly." Our students will engage in discussion with Rabbi Alon on Jewish social issues and current events.

A dynamic part of Confirmation is participation in the incredible Reform Action Center (RAC) L'taken Social Justice Seminar in Washington, DC. L'taken introduces teens to current social and political issues that are being debated on Capitol Hill and presents the Reform movement's position on many of these concerns. This trip will be Friday, March 16- Monday, March 19. Details will be provided the beginning of October.

At the end of the year, participants will be confirmed at a special  Friday night service celebrating this milestone in our teens' Jewish journey.

Choose your own adventure: Disney Guidebook (9th grade)

From Danna: I'm always telling our students, "The Torah did it first!" Whether it's a great action sequence, romantic kiss, superhero triumph, underdog orphan story or alien invasion; no matter the movie, book, tv show or song, there are few plot twists that haven't already been covered in the bible. Using Disney World as our case study, this class will make the Hollywood-Torah connection by creating a Jewish guide to the attractions at Magic Kingdom. Students will create, publish and sell their Jewish Disney guidebook; then use the proceeds to fund a class trip to Disney!
