Join Rabbi Alon for a two-part Lunch & Learn exploring the most astonishing and mysterious tales in the Hebrew Bible. We’ll dive into stories such as:

• The “sons of God” who married mortal women (Genesis 6)
• Tzipporah saving Moses by circumcising someone with a flint knife (Exodus 4)
• The Witch of Endor summoning the ghost of Samuel (1 Samuel 28)
• Elijah raising the dead and Elisha’s curse that unleashed bears (2 Kings)

Each session will combine close reading, storytelling, and open discussion: What did these stories mean in their time — and what can they still mean for us today?
