Teshuvah - Dry Cleaning for the Soul Done something wrong? We all have. We often refer to these mistakes as "missing the mark" rather than sins. Here are four steps to be considered in "Jewish Repentence". 1. Regret. Realize mistake and feel regret. 2. Cessation. Stop the action. 3. Confession. Ask for foregiveness. 4. Resolution. Resolve not to repeat the action. As we reflect on the year, we move away from irresponsible or destructive behaviors, and aim towards our target - following the ethical values of our traditions and acting in a way that will make the world a better place. Shanah Tovah.
