Our Intergenerational Sukkot Celebration, "Pizza in the Hut" took place on Tuesday, October 14th at 5:00pm.

Since we weren't sure how the weather would hold up (this is South Florida so you never know) a lot of the activities were held inside the building. There were 12 learning centers about Sukkot in the lobby, Chapel and Social Hall  for all different age groups. Activities included Lulav Shakes (which were delicious), decorations for the Sukkah including edible cereal necklaces and paper chains, a mural depicting Ushpizin that was mostly colored by religious school children and their parents, Sukkot questions and answers, and much more. Rabbi and Cantor then led us in prayer and song outside in our Sukkah that was decorated with the crafts that the children had made. Finally to end the evening we all gathered back in the Social Hall for pizza. To see more pictures from Sukkot go to event photos and click on the Sukkot Celebration album or click here.
