Temple Beth Am Preschool’s Parent Teacher Organization wishes everyone a Happy Chanukah. November was filled with wonderful events and excitement in our amazing Preschool.
On November 6, 2011, we held our annual Holiday Boutique which featured many new and returning vendors. We raised over $4,300.00!!! Endless hours went into the planning, setting up and helping at the event. Thank you to all of the amazing volunteers and their families. A special thank you to the following people who made the event possible:
· Brooke Pastor for overseeing all of the vendors and the event;
· The Baughman family and The RAM Group for designing the wonderful save-the-dates;
· Coffee News (Amy Labell and family) for advertising the event for us;
· Lisa Rubin and Hollywood Cupcake for putting on an amazing bake sale;
· Healthsource Chiropractic and Progressive Rehabilitation/Dr. Alyssa Kenyon for sponsoring this event;
· Duke Thrush (picstoposters.com) for the making the Holiday Boutique posters; and
· Alfredo for helping with the set up on Saturday and Sunday.
On November 21, 2011, we had our Head Start Thanksgiving Luncheon which was a fabulous event that deserves an article all to itself. We would like to thank Malinda Linkhorst and Jana Taylor, from our PTO, who organized the event. Thank you Stu Fierman for taking care of getting all the food to the Temple; Lisa Reuben and Holiday Cupcakes for donating the desserts; Jared Freedland for the gift bags for all the children and Laura Gambino for her generous donation. Thank you to all volunteers who helped plan, set up, complete activities with the children, serve food and clean up. And thank you Dotty Wisch for always being there to help with a smile.

December kicks off with our first Scholastic Book Fair. The kick-off event is Friday, December 9, 2011 at 8:15am with a special breakfast for the child, parents, grandparents and friends. The children are invited to come in their pajamas and are being asked to donate pajamas. The Book Fair will be open from Friday, December 9, 2011 through Wednesday, December 14, 2011. Thank you to Shana Dutkewych and Stacy Miller for running such an amazing program.
Our last Bake Sale of 2011 will be December 16, 2011 at pick up (or when the wonderful desserts sell out). Please join us in the Preschool lobby – the excitement on the children’s faces is a great way to start the weekend.
On a personal note, I would like to thank Paula Deakter for working so hard to make sure all of our children love coming to Preschool. Her dedication, love, encouragement and support to so many children and parents is appreciated every day. From our family to yours….THANK YOU and WE LOVE YOU!!!
