Sisterhood Upcoming Events

SISTERHOOD SCOOP
by Anita Tuber

For those of you that were unable to attend Sisterhood’s Annual Paid Up Membership Brunch on Sunday, January 8th you missed a spectacular time. The food was incredible, the desserts divine and the fashion show was a hoot. I think I’m safe in saying a great time was had by all. I would be remiss if I didn’t thank our wonderful committee, Carol Carswell, Karen Feller, Lois Remick and Evelyn Slotkin. Their hard work and attention to detail really paid off. Thank you ladies!

On another note, Sisterhood’s Annual Shabbat service will be held on Friday evening, February 3rd at 7:30pm. Debbie Carr has worked diligently to create another awe inspiring evening. We hope you will be able to attend and join Sisterhood in song and prayer.

B’shalom, Anita

SISTERHOOD PAID UP BRUNCH
by Carol Carswell

On Sunday, January 8, 2012, the annual Paid Up Sisterhood Brunch was held. It was well attended, had fabulous food and a great fashion show with clothes courtesy of Bealls. The success of this event was due to many people. I would like to thank my wonderful committee: my co-chair Karen Feller, Evelyn Slotkin, Lois Remick, Judy Goldstein and Carole Levine. Karen Feller, Mary Elias, Carole Levine, Debbie Schmidt and I were the models. We are ready for Project Runway and I appreciate all of them.

The food was plentiful and delicious and there were too many contributors to name individually but kudos to you all. I want to thank Gladys Gottlieb and Carole Levine who were winners of the 50/50 and donated the money back. The proceeds of the raffle are going to the Camp Coleman Fund at the Temple. I also want to thank Carole Levine for being a sponsor of the event.

I believe everyone had a good time and I know we had a good time putting it together. The Sisterhood is a wonderful group of women.

Don’t forget Sisterhood Shabbat on Friday, February 3 at 7:30pm. We are planning a wonderful program and hope you will all attend.
