Temple Beth Am Book Club

Calling all readers! Join us as our Temple Beth Am Book Club begins a new series of book club meetings. We meet on specified Mondays at 10:30am. Everyone is welcome to join us. Below is our schedule for 2011-2012:

April 30^th: The 19th Wife by David Ebershoff

The next meeting of the TBA Book Club will be on April 30th at 10:30am at the Temple. We will be discussing The 19th Wife by David Ebershoff.

As timely as it is engaging…...Fascinating in its documentary detail. The 19th Wife reads like a memoir and ultimately serves to enlighten more than it condemns. Its snappy pace and easy to read prose allow us to fall deeper and deeper into the world of a modern polygamous cult and the twisted logic of plural marriage.

Please come with suggestions for books to be read next season. Members and non-members are welcome to join us.
