Benefits of Joining

You'll find a warm, caring congregational family...From the moment you enter the synagogue for a Friday evening Shabbat service, you'll be greeted by friends.  Temple Beth Am's multi-generational family is led by our rabbi and cantor.

A full calendar of functions and activities...The temple's numerous committees, groups, and clubs provide year-round programs for the entire family.  With our busy auxiliaries like the Men's Club, Sisterhood, Youth Groups, Choir, Mahjongg, Social Action and our outreach committees, there is a place for everyone at Temple Beth Am.

Young families participate in our Mishpacha/Family Center programs for babies and toddlers.  Preschoolers can be enrolled in our acclaimed NAEYC accredited preschool.

An innovative Religious School...Major emphasis is placed on our Religious School (grades K-7).  We are extremely proud of the innovative programming and curriculum that has developed over the years. Through stories, songs, drama, art, technology and field trips, children learn about and rejoice in our Jewish heritage, and make long-lasting friendships.  Children are prepared for their Bar/Bar Mitzvahs and to be part of the Jewish community.  Teens can enter our dynamic "Shalom Chai" community Hebrew High School which meets on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30pm.

At Temple Beth Am, education continues with our Adult learning programs.  This includes Tuesday Night of Learning series, book discussions, speakers and weekly "Torah Talk" sessions.

And membership dues which will meet your family structure... Temple Beth Am offers various membership categories to include families, singles, single parents, young adults, seniors and members who reside in Florida less than six months of the year.

"As my fathers planted before me before I was born, so do I plant for those who come after me." Talmud T'aanit 23A
